The original term for Reiki is Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho, meaning Usui Reiki treatment method to improve body and mind. It is a non-religious hands-on method founded and developed by Mr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926).
Reiki is universal energy transmitted through a practitioners body and out the hands onto the receiver to promote physical and psychological health.
Reiki achieves this by reactivating one's natural self-regeneration process in the body that we all orignally posess.
Jikiden Reiki is an authentic Japanese lineage of Reiki and the direct teaching of Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, one of Mr. Usui's prominent students.
I learned Jikiden Reiki from Mr. Tadao Yamaguchi, the son of the late Chiyoko Yamaguchi who studied Reiki with Dr. Hayashi.
Jikiden Reiki is not westernized , pure and easy to learn.
